Daiquiri

The Daiquiri is indeed a classic cocktail that has stood the test of time, and its simplicity and refreshing taste make it a favorite among cocktail enthusiasts. The story of its origin in the town of Daiquiri in Cuba adds a touch of history and charm to this iconic drink. The cocktail is named after the location it was created in – the town of Daiquiri on the southeastern tip of Cuba, and was supposedly invented in 1898 by an American mining engineer named Jennings Cox. A United States Navy medical officer brought the recipe over from Cuba about a decade later, introducing it to rest of the world.

The Daiquiri's popularity extends far beyond its Cuban origins, and it has become a symbol of tropical relaxation and enjoyment. Whether sipped by the pool, on the beach, or at a lively cocktail bar, the Camikara Daiquiri should be ‘go-to’ choice for those seeking a simple yet delightful rum-based cocktail experience.
